Set in the delightful Eden Valley, these two charming, stone built cottages offer accommodation of great character with their cosy beamed interiors. In a quiet village location within the cottages are just 3 miles from the market town of Appleby, which comes alive every June with its famous gypsy horse fair. Here there are some lovely shops and excellent inns and restaurants. The Eden Valley area, popular with walkers and ornithologists, also offers mountain biking, pony trekking, tennis, riding and golf. The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are within easy reach. Shops 3 miles, pub 200 yards.

One bedroom. Comfortably furnished open plan sitting room with exposed beams, wooden floor with rugs, open fire and kitchen and dining area. Bathroom/WC (shower over bath). Double bedroom.

Reviews
A typical old fasioned cottage, quaint rustic with a warm log fire. The surrounding area is steeped with history and is unspoilt. The local serves excellent food only five minutes away.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage was just what we needed for a break away from it all. It was very cosy and easy to warm with the open fire. The quiet village had a good local pub and it's close to the Pennine Way, and lots of good walks. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.
